Our story begins much like yours. We didn’t envision a future of being consultants. Instead, much like you, we noticed a need in the nonprofit world. No one was serving the impact-driven startup community with affordable, holistic, and practical guidance. We were met with expensive, impractical advice that did not lead to sustainable solutions.  It requires a substantial amount of faith to step into the calling of your heart and all we wanted was a clear map in order to walk forward confidently.

So we decided to take Gandhi to heart and “be the change” we wanted to see in this world. We wanted to provide the guidance that we didn’t have in order for you to “be the change” you want to see in your community.

We first felt the call to this work in 2013 after recognizing a pressing need in the Charlotte, NC community. We returned home to Huntington, WV, in 2016 so we could focus our efforts and attention on our town. Since then, we have ignited a passion for other areas around the country, serving agents of change no matter where they are. Some naysayers said we were in the express lane to bankruptcy, but we couldn’t shake the feeling that our people needed our help. We just had to keep the faith. We knew that our Heroes of Change needed guidance and resources that would empower them to move the needle without causing financial hardship. 

Since 2013, we have served over 150 clients across 24 states, from the grassroots ministry taking their initial leap of faith, to the decades-old national nonprofit seeking to remain relevant in uncertain times. We offer affordable, practical, innovative capacity-building solutions that are customized to your needs and budgets.

We have been where you are. We have questioned if we are doing the right thing and have felt the ups and downs of business ownership and nonprofit leadership. At the end of the day, we believe that ordinary people, like you, can make an extraordinary impact.
